Landing training for fellow pilots

Landing training for fellow pilots
Even if the probability is low, it does happen in very rare cases that a pilot is no longer able to pilot the aircraft due to health restrictions. We offer this training for such an emergency.
Our course is designed to enable the passenger to take over the controls in an emergency and land the aircraft safely. The co-pilot not only needs practical skills, but also theoretical knowledge in the operation of the radio and navigation systems as well as basic knowledge of aerodynamics and technology. This theoretical knowledge is taught in a 6-hour course.
The required practical skills will take about 6 flying hours. The aim of flight training is to be able to communicate in an emergency and to navigate the aircraft safely to an airfield in order to make a safe landing there independently.
There are no special participation requirements for the course. The interested party only needs to be physically healthy, have good eyesight and be able to cope with the strain of flight training.
